1. Which CG
software is used for starting up? |
Max Plug-in is the software used. |
|
2. Which languages are compatible? |
There is an English and a Japanese version. |
|
3. What kinds of DXF files are usable? |
Those compatible with the AAMA format created on Apparel CAD.
They are also compatible with output on AutoCAD R13 format,
yet there are occasions when they do not correspond with a part of CAD. |
|
4. Is FDK software
for sale? |
FDK is
software for reading DXF data and entering essential sewing information,
etc. for DressingSim. It is included with
LookStailor
but is not sold separately. |
|
5. How many models are there to choose from? |
There are ten male models and thirteen female models in total. A body variation function based on numerical inputs is also included.
It is also possible to give motion to any of these models. |
|
6. Is it possible to change facial features? |
It is possible to change the body shape but not the face. |
|
7. Is it OK

|
9. About usable
graphics boards. |
Almost
everything can be run smoothly with an OpenGL-compatible graphics
board. In other cases if the "Show bounding box during operation"
item in the display options is set to "ON", then it should
run with nearly the same quality as an OpenGL-compatible graphics
board. Please refer to the circumstances listed above for issues
dealing with confirming the OpenGL-compatible chip operation. |
|
10. When I export
the human model from the DSBody in OBJ format and try to confirm
this, an error appears for Import as well and I cannot make the
confirmation. |
Objects for use on DSBody (human models, etc.) can be read, yet objects created on DSBody cannot be read.
Please read objects as combined objects from the Anaheik 3D simulator. |
|
11. When I input numerical data for height and weight, calculate the ideal proportions and then create the image, is it possible to display this by layering it upon the actual form? |
If
you have numerical data of your ideal proportions, that body shape
can be created through entering those values for the parameters
in DSBody. However, we cannot suggest that these particular body
shapes are ideal proportions in any way. |
